Product information

Our Potassium Sulphate food grade 99.9% FCC is a high-purity, natural mineral salt with excellent free-flowing properties and clear solubility in water. This natural product can be used without maximum quantity restrictions. Excellent free-flowing properties and clear solubility in water are convincing features.

The food industry mainly utilises it as an acidity regulator, as a firming agent, as a carrier for additives, or in food supplements.

Application Areas

Acidity Regulator

In aqueous solution, potassium sulphate has a neutral to slightly acidic pH value, making it an ideal acidity regulator. In products such as lemonade or instant coffee, the pH value can be optimally adjusted by adding potassium sulphate.

Thickening Agent

Potassium sulphate acts as a firming and thickening agent, influencing food consistency to achieve the desired food shape and the required texture. The result is a product with the optimal appearance and mouthfeel.

Food Supplement

The high purity potassium sulphate is highly suitable for enriching food with potassium. Due to its easy solubility, it is ideal for use in liquid products.

Biotechnology
