What is Vacuum Drying?

Vacuum drying involves removing water from a chemical solution, slurry or wet solid under reduced pressure, producing a stable solid product. Because drying occurs under vacuum, water can be removed at temperatures well below 100 °C — preserving heat‑sensitive or temperature‑sensitive materials.
